Brooks Taliaferro Atwood

Brooks holds two advanced degrees in Architecture and Design. He received his Bachelor of Architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology where he graduated valedictorian of his class. Brooks studied for a year in Paris at the L'ecole de L'Architecture Paris La Seine before returning to Chicago. He received his Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design in 2003 from Columbia University GSAPP. He is also an adjunct professor of Architecture at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. During his studies, Brooks received a certificate of merit and The Scholastic Award from The American Institute of Architects for his Excellence in the study of Architecture.

Before forming POD DESIGN+MEDIA LLC he worked with such renowned architects as Gordon Kipping of GTECTS, Winka Dubbeldam of Archi-tectonics and Paul Florian of Florian Architects.

He likes to ask "Why aren't you doing it now?" and "what is a kitchen?" as well as "where's the diagram of that". Currently his dreams entail becoming a rock star or the next John Travolta circa Saturday Night Fever. Disco baby!.
